Project Synopsis
Clinton Brown Company Architecture provided architectural services, prepared the Historic Preservation Tax Credit Application, applied for financing, and provided financing administration services to assist ReNewell, LLC in the rehabilitation of the former R. H. Newell Shirt Company Building located in the National Register-listed Main Street Historic District in the Erie Canal Village of Medina, NY.
Phase I design and construction saw the building converted into a coffee shop, yarn store and barber shop on the first floor. Phase II includes two commercial offices and four loft apartments on the upper floors of this one-time hotel.
